Good Morning! Today I have an adorable little card idea for you! This little chickadee is one of the cute images in the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set. And…you can earn this stamp set for FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 purchase! Plus, it would be a great little stamp set to create Easter cards with! I actually put this card together for our local demonstrator meeting as my Sale-a-bration swap. Basically I made 6 of these and traded them for other designs with my demo friends! 🙂 The card is quick and simple to re-create! Start with a piece of blackberry bliss cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of lost lagoon cardstock. Cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of the Wildflower Designer Series Paper (DSP) or choose one of your favorite patterned papers. Cut a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch piece of blackberry bliss cardstock and a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp the little chickadee in on your white cardstock using memento ink. Grab an aqua painter and watercolor the chick with hello honey ink. Color in his beak with a calypso coral or orange colored marker. Color in the feet with a neutral colored marker like sahara sand. Stamp a little sentiment using blackberry bliss ink. Matte the white and blackberry bliss cardstock together, add a little piece of a paper doily, and adhere the whole piece to your card with dimensionals. Enjoy!
