Rose Garden Blessings

rose garden puzzle cardWell as you probably have noticed, I have been having way to much fun with the Rose Garden thinlit dies! There are so many fun ways that you can use them!  This particular project showcases a way to use all of the leftover little pieces that fall out when you cut out the rose. Now it is a little putzy to put this together but it’s a great way to “color” your rose. Let’s take a closer look!010 Start with a piece of basic black cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and adhere it to the front of your card. Cut out a black  and a red rose with the rose garden die. Save the pieces from the red rose as you will be gluing them into the outline from the black rose (refer to the pic on the left).  It’s sort of like putting together a puzzle. First glue the black rose to your white cardstock, then start gluing each individual red piece into the rose. You could even do this with the leaves if you wanted to cut them out of green cardstock. I used a fine tip glue pen to adhere all of the little pieces. Once you have all of the pieces glued in you can embellish your card any way you like! Enjoy!
