Cute Conversations

January 2016 PP Cute Conversations ProjectsGood Morning! My grandson has kept me sooooo busy for the past few days that I haven’t been able to post any fun projects for all of you!  Those little 3 year olds sure can keep ya hopping! 🙂  Today I want to share some of the fun projects I created with materials from the January 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit called Cute Conversations.  As you can see, this particular kit had a Valentine’s Day theme. The kit contained enough materials to make a variety of little heart treat pouches and a banner. I decided to create a few cards and treat pouches with the materials, instead of a banner, so that I can give out some fun little gifts to the ladies at my Valentine’s Day class this week.

The heart treat pouches were super simple to make and you can easily recreate them if you have a large heart shaped framelit. Simply cut out 2 hearts from cardstock or pretty patterned papers. Stamp some fun Valentine’s Day or Love-Themed images and sentiments on the hearts. Adhere the sides of the hearts together (starting from the bottom) with some type of strong adhesive. Be sure to leave the top part of the hearts open so you can tuck some treats in there. For the finishing touch, add a few embellishments like banners, sequins, ribbons, etc.

Since I didn’t make the banner, there were lots of fun materials left to play with. I simply added a few of my own supplies, like cardstock and designer paper, and created all of these fun cards:
