Good Morning! Today I have great project showcasing one of my favorite products from the Botanicals collection. The new Botanical Builder Framelit Dies are fabulous! There are a variety of different flowery shapes and a super fun new edgelit! The edgelit is what is showcased on this particular project. As you can see, it cuts out a fun leaf pattern that you can use to decorate your card. You can also use it directly on the edge of your card. Too fun! So let’s take a look at how to make this card…
Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 1 x 5 1/2 inch piece of one of the patterns from the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. Adhere that piece of DSP to the right side of your card front. Cut a 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch piece of old olive cardstock…using the edgelit, cut out the leaf pattern right in the middle of the old olive piece and adhere it next to the DSP. Stamp a little sentiment on the card as shown. For the finishing touch, add a few yellow flowers embellished with some pearls. That’s it! Enjoy!
