Good Morning! Today I have a beautiful project to share with all of you which showcases the Rose Garden die cuts. I actually started out playing around with all of the scrap pieces of paper on my craft table and, before you know it, I created this! It is by far my favorite project! Let’s take a look at how to make it!
Start with a piece of cherry cobbler cardstock for the base of your card. Cut 3 strips of the Timeless Elegance Design Series Paper (DSP) at 1 x 5 1/2 inches. Choose 2 different patterns. Adhere the pieces to the front of your cherry cobbler cardstock. Cut a paper doily in half and adhere it to the bottom of the card front (over the DSP). Cut a 1 x 4 1/4 inch piece of cherry cobbler cardstock and punch out some scalloped dots to lay across the top part of the paper doily. If you don’t have the scalloped dots punch, you can run some ribbon across the doily or just a 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch piece of cardstock. Grab the Rose Garden thinlits and cut out the small rose and leaves using white cardstock. Take a scrap piece of cherry cobbler cardstock and adhere the white rose to it with glue dots…then do a bit of fussy cutting…cut the red cardstock into the shape of the white rose. Adhere the leaves to your card front as shown then add the rose securing it with a few dimensionals to lift it off the card a bit. For the finishing touch, add a little sentiment in the upper right hand corner of the card using the washi label and word window punch. Enjoy!
