Valentine’s Day is just a few short weeks away! I know…can you believe it?!!? The Love Blossoms product suite is perfect for Valentine’s Day projects or any other “love themed” projects that you want to put together. This particular project showcases another quick and simple card idea using one of the pretty patterned papers in the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper (DSP) Pack. Feel free to use this layout with any patterned papers that you have on hand! Plus you can simply change out the sentiment and you will have a card for any occasion!
To make this card, start with a piece of blushing bride cardstock for the base of the card. Stamp some of the flower images, from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set, on the top and bottom of your card front using blushing bride ink. Tip: You want to use the same color ink as you paper for a more subtle background. Cut a 5 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch piece of one of the pretty patterns of paper in the Love Blossoms DSP pack; adhere this piece to the center of your card front. Stamp the Valentine sentiment on a scrap piece of white cardstock (using garden green ink) and punch it out with the Note Tag Punch. Adhere the tag to the right side of your card as shown and embellish it with a little flower and some pearls. Note: I used some of the pink sparkly pearls from the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit.
