It’s finally here! The start of Sale-A-Bration and the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog! If you haven’t seen the catalogs yet, you can view them on the right hand side of this website or simply click on “request a catalog” above and I will mail you a hard copy! So let’s take a look at one of the many projects I have been working on that showcase some of the fun new products! This particular card showcases one of the pretty patterned papers from the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. This DSP is one of the items that you could choose for FREE during Sale-A-Bration when you place an order of $50 or more.
To make this card, start with a piece of calypso coral cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/2 x 3 inch piece of one of the patterned papers from the Wildflower Fields DSP pack and embellish the top of it with a paper and metallic doily. Cut a 3 1/2 x 2 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and punch out both ends with the ornate tag topper. Stamp a sentiment in the middle of the tag using blackberry bliss ink and a few little flowers with calypso coral ink. I used the images from the Friendly Wishes stamp set. Run a piece of ribbon through the holes in the tag, as shown, and secure the tag to the center of the DSP. Wrap the ends of the ribbon around to the back of the DSP and secure it to your card front!
