Good Morning! I thought we would take a little break from Christmas projects today and share a quick and simple little all occasions card that you can create with just a few ink colors and some fun shiny paper! The Color Me Irresistible Designer Papers are a lot of fun. You can sponge, brayer, spritz, and stamp colors onto this paper! So many possibilities! let’s take a look at how to make this project.
First, choose two different colors of ink. For this project, I chose blushing bride and crumb. Start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of one of the white designs in the Color me Irresistible Designer Series Paper pack. Sponge a bit of the blushing bride color all over the center of the cardstock; rub and swirl in the color with your sponge or dauber, working your way outward. Grab one of your all occasion stamp sets, I chose A Whole Lot of Lovely and Gorgeous Grunge, and randomly stamp some of the images into the background using the blushing bride and crumb cake inks. Once you have finished stamping and sponging, wipe off the excess ink with a tissue (note: the ink will not stick to the shiny embossed design on the paper). Stamp the thank you sentiment on a scrap piece of white cardstock, using crumb cake ink, and punch it out with the 2 inch circle punch. Sponge some blushing bride ink all over the sentiment. Embellish with a bit of glimmer paper and some sequins. Enjoy!
