Good Morning! Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with family and friends! It’s tradition at our home to start putting up Christmas decorations right after Thanksgiving. I also work on getting all of my Christmas cards done and ready for mailing. So I thought today I would share a beautiful Christmas card idea with all of you. This card was designed by my daughter, Tiffany.
Start with a piece of bermuda bay cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Sponge some bermuda bay ink all over the white cardstock. Tear a few pieces of some vellum and secure them to the bottom of the white cardstock to create “snow.” Be sure to overlap the pieces of vellum. Using the images in the White Christmas stamp set, stamp the trees, deer and bear using versamark. Yes, you will be embossing the images. Sprinkle some white embossing powder over the versamark and tap off the excess. Heat to set. Add a little ribbon tied into a bow off the upper left corner as shown; wrap the ends around to the back of the white cardstock and adhere to your card front. Stamp a little sentiment on a scrap piece of white paper and punch it out with the word window. For the finishing touch, outline the edges of the torn vellum with a bit of dazzling details; let dry. Embellish with some rhinestones and enjoy!
