Oh What Fun ~ Project Ideas

Today, I will show you how to create some quick and simple Christmas cards with the Oh What Fun tag kit. This adorable kit contains all of the supplies you need to create 30 Christmas tags.  To get started, I recommend that you assemble all of your tags first. There are 10 different tag designs so you will be using one tag from each of the 10 different designs to create your cards. In the end, you will have 10 cards with 2 coordinating gift tags.Oh what fun tag cardsI used all of the materials that came in the tag kit but I also had to add a few other supplies, like cardstock, so that I could make some of the tags into cards.  As you can see, there are traditional Christmas colors such as the real red and garden green but there is also a non-traditional color in this kit called Mint Macaron. Be sure to have these colors of cardstock and ink on hand so that you can create coordinating cards and tags. So let’s take a closer look at the first 5 projects:

Start with a piece of garden green cardstock for the base of your card. Stamp some of the holly berry images on the front of the cardstock using garden green ink. Add a paper doily to the top of the card and secure one of your pre-made tags to the front using dimensionals.

Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Tie a bit of silver cording trim around the mint macaron lace trim on each of the tags. Adhere the Oh What Fun tag to the front of your card using dimensionals. Note: Save all of the Jingle Bells for embellishing your tags.

Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Emboss it with the Softly Falling Textured embossing folder. Cut a 2 1/2 x 4 inch piece of mint macaron cardstock to matte out one of your tags for the card; adhere the tag to this piece with a snail runner or other adhesive. Adhere the matted piece to the center of your card with dimensionals.

Start with a piece of real red cardstock for the base of your card. Secure a paper doliy to the center of the card front using a bit of snail or other adhesive. Secure one of your tags to the doily using dimensionals.

Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Emboss the front of the card with the softly falling embossing folder. Secure one of your tags to the card with dimensionals. Then embellish it with some of the silver sequins that came in the kit.
