Among the Branches

Good Morning!  Last night I held my annual Halloween class.  We made a variety of treat bags and cards in preparation for next week!  This particular card was one of my favorites as it showcases some fun Halloween products from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog. among the branchesTo make this card, start with a piece of basic gray cardstock for the base of your card. Emboss the front of the card with the Woodland embossing folder. Sponge some gray ink all over the embossed trees to highlight them.  Stamp some of the spooky eyes from the Among the Branches stamp set in between the trees using black ink. Cut a spider web doily in half and adhere it to the right side of your card; trim off the excess that hangs off the card. Grab some of your favorite washi tape and run a few different colors along the bottom of the spider web doily (this will help hold it in place too). You can also use the new Happy Haunting washi tape. Stamp the “spooky” sentiment from the Among the Branches stamp set on a piece of scrap white paper, using pumpkin pie ink, and punch it out with the 2 inch circle punch. Punch out a rich razzleberry 2 3/8 inch scalloped circle and adhere it to the “spooky” circle to matte it out. Adhere the circles to your card with dimensionals. that’s it! Enjoy!
