I just love the colors of the fall season, don’t you? Well this project showcases many of those pretty fall colors as it was design specifically for all of the guests of my second annual 2015 Fall Stampin’ Extravaganza. I love putting together little gifts for my guests. Plus I have a blast playing around with all of the fun products in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog. The mini muslin bags are actually in the annual catalog and they have been around for awhile. But the other products showcased on this project can be found in the Holiday catalog. Let me tell you a little bit about how to recreate this project.
Start with one of the mini muslin bags. They come in a package of 8 so once you have a design to work with you can make several little gift bags. These little bags are so much fun to play around with. My favorite thing to do with them is to stamp on them, of course! Stamping on muslin bags is a little tricky but if you press down hard enough you will get a good image on the bag. For this particular project, I used the lighthearted leaves stamp set. I randomly stamped the various leaf images onto the front and back of the muslin bag using the following ink colors: Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Old Olive and Tangerine Tango. The tag was made with a 3 x 2 inch piece of Cajun Craze cardstock; punch out the top of the tag with the scalloped tag topper. The little sentiment comes in the lighthearted leaves stamp set; I stamped it on a piece of naturals cardstock using early espresso ink. The image was punched out with the decorative label punch and I matted it out with another decorative label punch cut from old olive cardstock. For the finishing touch, I added a bit of ribbon, some gold sequin trim, half of a gold doily and, of course, it was personalized with your name. The tag is tied to the strings of the muslin bag with a bit of twine. Enjoy!
