It’s October already! Time to get serious about those Halloween projects! I have been sharing a few of the projects I have been working on but here is what my collection looks like so far! And there’s still plenty of time to create more!Since I already shared the instructions for the card and “Boo” gift bag, today I will provide you with some tips for creating the little mini muslin bag. There are so many things you can do to decorate up those little mini muslin bags but one of my favorite things to do is stamp on them! For this particular project I decided to use some of the cool Halloween images from the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set. I started by stamping the “Trick or Treat” image in the center of the muslin bag using tangerine tango ink. I actually stamped the image twice to make it darker. It’s pretty easy to align stamped images because this set is a photopolymer so you can see right through the image allowing you to realign it almost perfectly! Next, I randomly stamped some spider and bone images on the muslin bag using black memento ink. For the finishing touch, I embellished the side of the bag with a bit of silver sequins trim, orange twine and a little skull and cross bones created from the Boo To You framelits. That’s it! The best part is that you get 8 mini muslin bags in each pack! Be creative with it and enjoy!
