Good Morning! Today I want to share a little project I put together, by request, for one of my hostesses. This project showcases the Wetlands stamp set and one of the masculine paper patterns found in the Bohemian Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. The great thing about this layout is that you can use it over and over again with any patterned papers that you have on hand. Let’s take a closer look at how to make this card.
Start with a piece of soft suede cardstock for the base of your card. Stamp the cattail images across the bottom of your card front using soft suede ink. Cut a 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 inch piece of delightful dijon cardstock. Cut a 3 1/2 x 4 inch piece of one of the Bohemian DSP patterns; adhere this piece to the delightful dijon piece
. Cut a 3/4 x 3 1/2 inch piece of a solid colored DSP pattern and adhere it across the center of the patterned piece as shown. Cut a 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch piece of delightful dijon cardstock and a 3 x 2 inch piece of whisper white. Stamp the goose image and a sentiment onto the whisper white cardstock using soft suede ink. Once you have your images stamped, adhere the delightful dijon and white cardstock together and secure the matted images to the DSP as shown. I used a few dimensionals to lift the image a bit. For the finishing touch, embellish with a little button. Enjoy!
