Good Morning! I thought I would start sharing some fun Halloween ideas with all of you! Yes, it’s only September but Halloween will be here before you know it! Today’s project showcases some of the fun new Halloween products from the Holiday Stampin’ Up! catalog. One of my favorite products is the spider web doily! I have so many different ideas for using those little doilies…and some of my ideas are not Halloween related. 🙂 Wanna recreate this project? Let’s take a look at what you will need.
Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of orange patterned paper. I actually had a few pieces of Halloween papers and washi tape left from last year so I just used that. Of course there is a fun new pack of paper available in this year’s catalog called Happy Haunting. So if you love Halloween papers I highly recommend you check it out! Once you have your patterned paper cut, add a few pieces of washi tape to the top as shown. Of course you can use the happy haunting washi tape so it coordinates with your patterned paper. Next, adhere one of the spider web doilies to the left side of the paper (wrapping the excess around to the back), and then adhere the entire piece to the front of your card. Stamp some of the spiders from the Howl-o-ween treat stamp set onto the patterned paper using black ink. Cut a 1 x 3 1/2 inch piece of blackberry bliss cardstock and make a little pennant. Adhere it to the center as shown. Cut out the “BOO” with the Boo to your framelits using silver glimmer paper. That’s it! Enjoy!
