Good Morning! I am going to switch gears a bit today and share a little all occasions project with all of you. If you need cards in a hurry, this is a quick and simple little card to create! The card showcases one of the beautiful flower patterns found in the English Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack! I simply just cut up one of the 12 x 12 sheets of the pretty pink flowery pattern, added a bit of lace trim and a little sentiment. The best part about this card is that you can change out the sentiment and the DSP to fit any occasion! Let’s take a look at how to make this pretty little card.
Start with a piece of sahara sand cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp a little sentiment in the lower right hand corner of the white cardstock using sahara sand ink. Cut a 2 1/2 x 4 inch piece of the pretty pink flowery pattern from the English Garden DSP pack. Adhere the DSP to the upper part of your white cardstock but be sure that you have enough space for some of the lace trim above and below the DSP. Cut 2 pieces of the sahara sand lace trim (cut them a little longer than the 4 inch width of the white cardstock) and adhere them to the top and bottom of the DSP. Line up the edge of the trim with the edge of the DSP. I added a bit of adhesive under the trim and taped the ends of the trim on the back side of the white cardstock. Then simply adhere the entire piece to your sahara sand card base. That’s it! Enjoy!
