Vintage Guy Greetings

vintage guy greetingsNeed a quick and simple masculine card idea?  Well I have a great little project for you today that fits that description! The project showcases 2 fun products from the annual Stampin’ Up! catalog:  Guy Greetings Stamp Set and the Typeset Designer Series Paper (DSP). Let’s take a look at how to recreate this card.

Start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card. Sponge some crumb cake ink around the edges of the card base front. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of the black striped paper from the Typset DSP. Tear the to[p and bottom of the striped paper and sponge the edges with a bit of crumb cake ink. Cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of one of the newsprint patterns from the Typeset DSP. Stamp the old fashioned card onto the newsprint using black ink. Sponge a bit of crumb cake ink all over the newprint to give it more of a worn look. Adhere this piece in the center of the striped black DSP paper. Grab a few scrap pieces of very vanilla cardstock and stamp some sentiments on them in black ink. Snip the end of the paper into the shape of a banner and sponge a bit of crumb cake on the edges; then adhere to the card as shown with dimensionals. Easy peasy! Enjoy!
