Happy Friday! I have another fun vintage project to share with all of you today! I have been busy reorganizing my craft room since we just moved into our new home. And every time I start to organize my craft area it leads to projects that help me use up my scraps! Yes, this project was inspired by some of the scraps I had lying around on my craft table. 🙂 Let’s take a look at how to make this card.I started by embossing two corners of a piece of crumb cake cardstock with some of the flower sprays in the new Timeless Love stamp set. I actually embossed the card front a few weeks ago but couldn’t decide what I wanted to do with it…so it was on my scrap pile for a future project. Next, I sponged some crumb cake ink on a paper doily and a scrap piece of old designer paper that was cut into a 2 1/2 inch circle. I crinkled up the designer paper, first, and then sponged over it. That way the crumb cake ink was a bit darker on the folds in the paper. Sponge the entire front of the crumb cake cardstock to give it more of a worn look. Grab your favorite framelits and cut out a very vanilla shape (I used one of the retired apothecary accent framelits). Stamp one of the sentiments from the Timeless love stamp set in the center using soft suede (or crumb cake) ink. Sponge a bit of crumb cake ink around the shape and embellish the ends with some antique brads. Cut a gold foil doily in half and adhered it to the back side of the apothecary accent piece. Layer everything together as shown in the pic and adhere with dimensionals. Enjoy!
