No Bones About It

No Bones About ItGood Morning!  Today I want to share a fun little birthday cards for kids! It showcases some great dinosaur images from the “No Bones About It” stamp set. As soon as I saw that set in the new catalog I immediately thought of my grandson! How adorable is this card? Let’s take a closer look at what you will need to make it!

Start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card. Randomly stamp some of the fun dinosaur bone and leaf images all over the front of the crumb cake card base.  I used crumb cake ink for a more subtle background. Cut a 4 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch piece of the English Garden Designer Paper.  Cut a 4 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch piece of night of navy cardstock. Adhere these 2 pieces together and then adhere to the center of your card. Yes, you will cover up some of the dinosaur images so try to stamp them towards the top and bottom of the card front. Cut a 3 x 2 inch piece of night of navy and a 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 inch piece of old olive cardstock…punch out the top of both of them using the scalloped tag topper. Stamp some of the dinosaur feet and little dots on the old olive piece.  Snip a little piece of the striped green cotton ribbon and thread it through both of the tags. Once you have it threaded through, secure the green tag to the blue one with some adhesive (be sure to secure it so that the blue tag serves as a matte for the green tag). Tie the ribbon together with a little piece of linen thread. Grab a scrap piece of white cardstock and stamp one of the sentiments from the No Bones About It stamp set. Punch out the sentiment with the ex-large oval punch and adhere to the tag with dimensionals.  That’s it! Enjoy!
