Good Morning! Today I want to share one of 7 little card designs that you can make from one 12 x 12 sheet of designer paper. In some past posts, I have shared a very simple way to cut your 12 x 12 piece of designer paper so that you have absolutely no scraps left over. Do you remember what it’s called? It’s commonly referred to as the One Sheet Wonder. Now there are several different ways to cut a 12 x 12 piece of designer paper but I find this is the quickest and easiest way to cut it. You will end up with 6 pieces of designer paper that are 5 1/4 x 4 inches and 3 pieces of designer paper that are 1 1/2 x 4 inches. So you could make 6 cards that are laid out exactly like this from one piece of paper! Follow this link for a video tutorial and other information on how to cut your 12 x 12 papers https://stamptasticdesigns.com/2015/04/16/painted-petals-one-sheet-wonder/
So for this particular card, I used a piece of the new English Garden Designer Series Paper. Simply gorgeous designs on this paper. I started with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of this card. Using one of the 5 1/4 x 4 inch pieces of designer paper from the One Sheet Wonder technique, I simply adhered it to my white card base as a background. Next, I cut a 2 x 3 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and punched out the top with the scalloped tag topper punch. Stamp the images from the Garden in Bloom stamp set using Night of Navy and Hello Honey inks. For the finishing touch, add a bit of ribbon on your tag! That’s it! Enjoy!
