Good Morning! Today I have another project to share which showcases some of the beautiful images in the Awesomely Artistic stamp set. This project is very similar to the one I shared with all of you last week. Well, it’s similar in the sense that I used the same stamping, embossing and sponging technique. But this card is clearly different in the way I used the images from the stamp set as well as the color scheme. Let’s take a closer look at how to make this card.
Start with a piece of mint macaron cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Randomly stamp some of the fun images from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set all over the white cardstock using two colors of ink: Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe. Once you have completed your stamping, emboss the cardstock with the brick wall embossing folder. Next, grab a sponge dauber and begin rubbing the taupe ink on the bricks. I recommend that you rub the dauber across the bricks (don’t dab it) as it will provide a smoother and more aged look on your card. Stamp the large flowery image from the set onto a piece of scrap white paper using mint macaron ink…then “fussy cut” the flowers (cut them out by hand). Secure these flowers to the center of your card as shown. Stamp the little sentiment on a scrap piece of paper and cut it out by hand as well. Secure it to the center of your flowers. And that’s it! Enjoy!
