Good Morning and Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I actually had a bit of time to play around with some new products this past weekend and I have a beautiful project to share with you today. The project showcases some of the gorgeous images in the new Awesomely Artistic stamp set. This set was at the top of my new catalog wish list along with the brick wall embossing folder. And the combination of the two on this project is, well, awesomely artistic! Let’s take a closer look at how to make this card.
Start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Grab the Awesomely Artistic stamp set and randomly stamp some of the beautiful images onto the white cardstock. The ink colors on this card include old olive, calypso coral, delightful dijon and crumb cake. Once you have stamped the images you would like on the white cardstock, emboss it with the brick wall embossing folder. Next, grab a sponge dauber and rub crumb cake ink all over the bricks. This gives the project a more rustic or worn look. For the finishing touches, stamp the sentiment and the dragonfly on a scratch piece of paper and cut them out by hand. Adhere them to the card with dimensionals. This was such a fun card to make. Enjoy!
