Father’s Day is this weekend! I bet most of you have already designed your Father’s Day card, right? Well if you are still trying to figure out what to make, I have a great masculine style card idea for you today! This card features the Friendly Wishes stamp set as well as the Bohemian Washi Tape and Designer Paper. Let’s take a look at how to make it!
Start with a piece of very vanilla cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of Delightful Dijon cardstock and emboss it with the Boho Chic folder. Cut a 4 x4 inch piece of one of the fun patterns from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack (Note: I cut my piece at 3 1/2 x 4 inches as I was following the pattern of the paper). Now, use one of the 3 colors of Bohemian Washi Tape; choose the color based on the piece of DSP you are using. Run the washi tape across the DSP, as shown in the pic, to give your DSP a whole new pattern and look to it! Next, stamp your sentiment on a piece of scrap white paper and punch it out with the 2 inch circle punch. Punch out a 2 3/8 inch scallop circle using Bermuda Bay cardstock and a 2 1/2 inch circle using Delightful Dijon cardstock. Note: If you are making this as a Father’s Day or more masculine style card, then I would leave out the 2 3/8 inch scalloped circle as shown in the pic. Layer all of the circles together and adhere to the DSP with dimensionals. Enjoy!
