You’ve Got This ~ Fussy Cutting

In colors Taupe and Watermelon you got thisJust can’t seem to put down this new stamp set!  Yes, I have another project to share with you today which showcases the You’ve Got This stamp set. Of course I had to use two of the five new colors too! New Stamp Set + New Colors = Loads of Fun!  So let’s take a look at how to make this card.

Start with a piece of Tip Top Taupe for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of watermelon wonder and whisper white. Cut 2 pieces of the Tip Top Taupe lace trim and wrap it around the top and bottom of the watermelon wonder piece securing it to the back of the cardstock with a bit of adhesive; secure this piece to your card base right away. Next, stamp the large linen image on the whisper white cardstock using Tip Top Taupe ink and tear the top and bottom of the 4 inch side. Secure this piece to your card so that the tore edges overlap onto the lace trim. Grab another piece of whisper white cardstock just large enough to fit the flower image. Using watermelon wonder ink, stamp the flower on this scrap piece of white cardstock and “fussy cut” the image…in other words, cut the flower image out by hand. Secure the flower to the linen background using dimensionals. Grab another scrap piece of white paper and stamp a little sentiment on it using the Tip Top Taupe ink; punch out the image with the decorative label punch and trim off the right side of the decorative label so that it is flush with your background. Enjoy!
