Good Morning! Happy Monday! And what a Happy Monday it will be once you check out my latest creations! Ha!Ha! 🙂 Today I have some fun cards for you which showcase the new 2015-2017 In Colors and a beautiful new stamp set called You’ve Got This!
So what do you think? Do you like the colors, the stamp set or both? I decided to showcase how you can use the same card layout over and over again…just switch out the colors! To make these cards, first you have to choose a color. For the purpose of instruction, I will choose the Delightful Dijon color (but you can use any color). Start with a piece of Delightful Dijon cardstock for the base of the card. Note: You will use the same color ink and cardstock to create the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp one of the sentiments from the You’ve Got This stamp set in the lower right hand corner of the white paper. Ink up the large blotch image with Delightful Dijon and use the stamp off technique…first stamp it on a scrap piece of paper and then, without reinking it, stamp it onto your white cardstock (this lightens the image). Next ink up the flower image from the set and stamp it directly ontop of the blotch. Tear the top of the cardstock as shown in the picture above. Tie a pretty little bow around the white cardstock and secure it to your card base with adhesive. That’s it!
