Clean and simple (CS) card designs are so much fun to create! Just pure stampin’ and a little bit of embellishing! I really enjoy cards that are quick, simple and pretty! Don’t you? Well today’s card is just that! It showcases the beautiful images in the butterfly basics stamp set. This has been a hugely popular stamp set in the Spring Catalog so I was super excited to see it carried over into the Annual catalog.
To make this card, start with a piece of blushing bride cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 x 3 3/4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock…this is the piece you will do all of your stamping on. Stamp the fun images from the Butterfly Basics stamp set onto the vanilla cardstock using a variety of different inks such as blushing bride, pear pizazz, and sahara sand. Use the sahara sand ink to stamp the bitty butterfly image, which comes in the set, onto a scrap piece of the blushing bride cardstock. Punch out the butterflies with the coordinating bitty butterfly punch. Secure the butterflies to the card with dimensionals. For the finishing touch, add a few pearls. Enjoy!
