Did you know you can stamp on your pretty patterned papers? You can! It’s a fun way to change up the design or simply add a little bit of pizazz to your papers. Today’s project showcases one of the simple patterned paper designs found in the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper pack. I simply jazzed it up a bit with a few little flower stamps. It’s quick and easy! Let’s take a look…
Start by picking out a piece of patterned paper that you would like to jazz up a bit. Next, look for a small stamp image that would work nicely with the pattern. So for example, this particular patterned paper simply had some yellow lines running across it. After taking a look at some of the stamp images I had on hand, I decided the Bordering Blooms set would work perfect as I could stamp a row of several images all at once! Now…to decide on color. Choose colors that would coordinate with the patterned paper. For this card, I could have alternated colors with each row of flowers that I stamped. However, I opted to stick with one color…pumpkin pie. Now that you have your paper, stamps and ink ready to go, it’s time to get busy! You can stamp the entire sheet of patterned paper, as shown in the pic, or you can cut the size you need for your project and stamp just that piece. Have fun with it!
