Mother’s Day is right around the corner! If you are looking for a beautiful Mother’s Day stamp set then check out a Mother’s Love. There are some fun images in this set. Plus, it involves two-step stamping which is a fun little technique. Today’s projects showcase a few of the images in this set so let’s take a look…Card: Start with a piece of blushing bride cardstock for the base of your card. Simply cut an 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of cardstock in half. Your card will measure 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches when closed. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of the beautiful flowery paper from the Something Borrowed collection. Secure this piece to your card base. Stamp one of the flowery images from the Mother’s Love set onto a 3 x 3 inch piece of whisper white cardstock….use sahara sand or smoky slate ink. Grab the coordinating stamp…the “fill in” stamp…ink it up with blushing bride and stamp the overlay onto the first image. This second image will color in your flower. Punch out the image using the 2 1/2 inch circle punch and leave enough room to stamp a little sentiment. You can also do a bit of paper piercing around the circle if you like. Secure a paper doily in the center of your card. Add the circle to the doily with a few dimensionals. For the finishing touch, add a few roses from the Artisan Embellishment kit or just simply leave it as is!
Tag: Start with a 2 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Punch the top using the scalloped tag topper. Stamp the same image on the tag that you used on your card. Stamp one of the sentiments using blushing bride ink. Add a bit of chevron ribbon to the top of the tag and a little flower trim. Now you have a coordinating card and gift tag…all you need is the gift! Enjoy!
