2015 Spring Stampin’ Extravaganza

We had such a blast this past weekend at the 2015 Spring Stampin’ Extravaganza! Each participant made 32 projects in 7 hours!  Yes, 32!  So let’s see…18 ladies + 32 projects each for a grand total of 576 projects!  WOW!  We were busy for sure! 🙂 Well, it was super fun and everyone left with a bunch of beautiful projects and gifts.  Take a look at some of the fun pictures from this event! Enjoy!

spring stampin extravaganza guest boxes
Each guest received one of these handmade and personalized boxes. They were perfect for storing all of the projects they were making at this event! These boxes are made from two 12 x 12 pieces of cardstock. For the top: simply score a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock at 2 inches all the way around, snip all four corners up to the 2 inch score line (so that it forms a flap on each end of the box), and secure the flaps to the inside of the box. Repeat this process to make the bottom of the box but be sure to cut the 12 x 12 cardstock down by 1/8 of an inch so the top fits nicely over the bottom. You can really decorate the box any way you like! I simply cut a 4 x 12 inch piece of designer paper and covered the middle of the box top, I added a few embellishments and a personalized name tag. For the finishing touch, I added some pretty ribbon tied in a bow.
