Today I have some quick and simple little card ideas to help you use up some of those scraps you might be saving. Or maybe you are looking for a simple way to use up some of your designer papers? Either way, these quick little card ideas will work perfect for you!For this first project, start with a card base color that matches the designer paper that you plan to use. In this case, I started with a piece of whisper white cardstock. Next, cut 3 pieces of some pretty patterned paper at 1 3/4 x 4 inches. Simply adhere them to your card base spacing them out so that your card base serves as a matte for these pieces. Cut a 3 x 2 inch piece of white cardstock, punch out the top with the scalloped tag topper and stamp a fun sentiment on it. Then embellish it to your liking!
For this second project, cut more designer paper to the same size mentioned above and secure them to your card base. The great thing about Stampin’ Up! designer papers is that the are two-sided…so I used the yellow designer paper in the middle of the card (which is the pattern on the flip side of the purple flower paper). This time I cut a 3 x 2 inch piece of blackberry bliss cardstock and made my tag. I simply embellished it with a little bit of ribbon. I stamped my sentiment on some white cardstock, punched it out with the scalloped oval punch, and did a bit of paper piercing in the scallops. That’s it! Enjoy!
