Did you enjoy the perpetual birthday calendar post the other day? I hope so because today I want to share a few more fun little things you can do with the stamp set that coordinates with the kit. I actually held a little calendar class last month. Participants made the adorable little calendar as well as some fun birthday cards.
You need to have some birthday cards to send out to those people on your calendar, right? Right! Well we put together some very simple birthday cards using some of the fun images in the Perpetual Birthday Calendar photopolymer stamp set. Grab a few sheets of whisper white cardstock as we will be using this for the base of the cards. You will also need a few different colors of ink. For the butterfly card, I chose the following colors: Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate, So Saffron, and Crisp Cantaloupe. For the flower card, I used: Pink Pirouette, Smoky Slate and So Saffron. To make the cards, ink up the images and randomly stamp them on your white card base as shown. I added some punched out flowers or a butterfly (to coordinate with the stamped images) and then embellished with a few sequins from the kit. That’s it! These are quick and simple little cards you can put together in a snap! Be creative with it! Enjoy!
