Hippity Hoppity Easter’s on it’s way! And today I have a fun little punch art Easter project for you! This little bunny butt is created with a variety of different punches and is super fun to make! Let’s take a look at how to make this card.
Start with a piece of old olive cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of the flowerpot designer series paper (DSP). You can really choose any fun DSP that you have on hand. Punch out a black and a white 2 inch circles. The white 2 inch circle will be the bunny butt and the black circle represents the “hole” that the bunny is jumping into. For the feet, punch out 2 white extra large ovals and 2 blushing bride (pink) large ovals. For the tail, use the boho blossoms punch with white paper and layer all 3 of the pieces to form the bushy tail. I sponged a bit of blushing bride (pink) ink on all of the white pieces just to make them stand out a bit more. Take a black or gray marker and draw little lines on the feet to represent the bunny’s toes. For the finishing touches, I took a 1 1/4 x 4 inch piece of old olive cardstock and snipped the top edge with a fringe scissors so it resembled grass. You can also add a bit of ribbon and a little sentiment to the grassy area as shown. Enjoy!
