This is one of favorite creations and one that happened as I was using up some of the scraps I had lying around on my crafting table. Sometime the most beautiful projects arise out of scraps! To make this card, start with a piece of sahara sand cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of the scallop design from the Irresistibly Yours DSP pack. Sponge the scallops with a bit of blushing bride ink then blot lightly with a tissue to remove the excess ink. Cut a 1 1/2 x 4 inch piece of the Best Year Ever DSP or any other fun scraps you have lying around. Secure that piece to the bottom of the sponged DSP. Add a half of a paper doily just above the DSP…then use a bit of Sahara Sand Lace Trim to cover up the seam where the doily and DSP meet. For the finishing touches, embellish with a little butterfly and a fun sentiment. Enjoy!
