Like this one…the new Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper. I actually couldn’t believe that this was one of the FREE products we can earn! It is simply gorgeous paper! The paper is white with white embossed images. You can do so many different things with this paper like sponge it, spritz it, brayer it or even stamp on it! Or, you can use it just as it is!
So let’s take a look at this project which showcases this fun paper. Start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of your card and stamp a little sentiment in the lower right hand corner. Cut a 4 x 4 inch piece of one of the beautiful Irresistibly Yours DSP patterns. I chose the leaves but you can choose any of the 6 different patterns. Grab some pink ink, I used blushing bride, and sponge it all over the DSP. Once you have sponged all of the color on the DSP simply take a tissue a wipe off the excess…the ink won’t stick to the white embossed images. Secure the sponged DSP to the upper part of your card. Cut a 1 x 4 inch piece of crumb cake cardstock and secure it over the bottom part of the DSP but just above the sentiment you stamped. Tuck a little piece of a paper doily under the 1 x 4 inch piece before you secure it to the card. For the finishing touch, add some of the beautiful flower trim from the Artisan Embellishment kit.
