Happy New Year Everyone! 2015 is here and I have the feeling it will be a wonderful year for my family and for crafting! The new Stampin’ Up! catalog starts next week and the products are just simply amazing! So to start off the New Year, I will be sharing a variety of fun projects created with these new products. This particular card was designed with some of the beautiful new Artisan Embellishments which will be available starting January 6th. The Artisan Embellishment kit comes with 29 different embellishments that you can use on your projects. This allowed me to create 14 different projects with the kit materials! How cool is that?
To make this project, start out with a piece of sahara sand cardstock for the base of your card. Emboss the front of the card with the little polka dots. Take one of the 3 x 4 inch die cut pieces (with the flowers on it) and cut a piece of blushing bride cardstock at 3 x4 to fit behind the die cut. Mount this piece to the middle of your card base using dimensionals. Embellish it with a little piece of a paper doily and some pink flower trim (which comes in the kit). For the finishing touch, stamp a little sentiment and punch it out using your decorative label punch…tuck this piece under the flower trim. That’s it! Enjoy!
