This week I have been sharing a few all occasions card designs with all of you…yes, I know Christmas is right around the corner but I wanted to change up the scenery a bit as I have probably overwhelmed you with all of my Christmas posts, right? 🙂 This particular card was inspired by a similar card design from one of the past Stampin’ Up! catalogs. You do save your catalogs, don’t you? I hope so! There are so many awesome project ideas in these catalogs and you can pretty much re-create them all you need to do is substitute some of the new stamp sets and products. To make this card, start with a piece of always artichoke cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 3 1/4 x 3 inch piece of so saffron cardstock…tear off about a 1/4 inch (as shown) as sponge a bit of early espresso ink on the torn edge. Cut a 3 x 2 3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Randomly stamp some of the nature images from the World of Dream stamp set using always artichoke and so saffron ink. Stamp the bird nest over the top of the other images using early espresso ink. Stamp one of the sentiments in the corner of the card using early espresso ink. Tie a bit of white satin ribbon around the entire front of the card. Cut a 1 x 4 1/4 inch strip of always artichoke cardstock and secure some antique brads to each end. Secure this piece over the top of the ribbon using dimensionals. Secure the piece with your stamped images to the so saffron piece and mount to the card using dimensionals as shown. Voila! You have a beautiful card for any occasion. Enjoy!
