We had our annual team stampin’ Christmas party this past weekend and it was a blast! The entire room was decorated with beautiful Christmas decor, we had Christmas music playing and some amazing food! We had a “shoe box” swap so each of us brought a a project for everyone to make. And the theme…anything “non-Christmas” 🙂
The projects that we shared that day needed to be quick and simple since there were 19 of us in attendance at this event! Yes, I came home with 18 different card designs! Super fun! Anyway…for my project, I decide to showcase the Choose Happiness stamp set as I hadn’t really played around with it yet. I started with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of the card. I used crumb cake ink for all of the stamping. Simply randomly stamp a few of the images from the Choose Happiness stamp set onto the crumb cake cardstock. I sponged a bit of crumb cake ink around the edges of the card and over some of the stamped images. The sentiment is stamped on a piece of white cardstock and sponged with the crumb cake ink. I cut out the Choose Happiness sentiment with the Artisan Label punch. Next, I punched out another Artisan label using early espresso cardstock…I simply snipped it in half and secured it to the back of the sentiment just to matte it out a bit. For the finishing touch, I added a piece of Venetian crochet trim and an antique brad. Enjoy!
