As you can see by my posts this week, I am totally in the Christmas spirit and it’s still October! Today I want to share a beautiful card that I created for one of my Christmas classes. It showcases some fun new holiday products and it is super simple to make. So let’s take a closer look…
Start with a piece of cherry cobbler cardstock for the base of the card. Cut two 5 1/4 x 4 inch pieces of very vanilla cardstock…one for the inside and one for the outside of the card. Emboss one of the pieces with the new filigree frame embossing folder. Grab your heat gun, versa mark and gold embossing powder. You will be embossing the Christmas Cheer image in the middle of the filigree design. Once you have embossed that image in gold, sponge a bit of old olive ink around. For the finishing touches, I colored some rhinestones with the cherry cobbler and old olive blendabilities markers and added an elegant bird. Simple but elegant! Enjoy!
