Today I have a very warm yet colorful autumn card design to share with all of you. This is similar to one the projects featured in the Stampin’ Up! catalog but I decided to change it up a bit! It showcases a variety of fun, new products such as the Fall Fest stamp set and some wooden autumn elements. It is super simple to re-create so let me show you how!
Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of the card. My favorite part of designing autumn themed cards are the colors! For this card I used pear pizazz, pumpkin pie and hello honey. I randomly stamped the leaf images from the Fall Fest stamp set using all 3 of these colors. Once you have the base of the card stamped, cut out a little tag using one of the framelits from the Chalk Talk set. Stamp a little sentiment on the tag and then decorate it! I used a bit of twine, some wooden autumn elements and a little leaf cut from the fall fest stamp set and framelit bundle. Oh…and I also did a bit of paper piercing on the tag. There is a paper piercing template designed specifically to coordinate with the chalk talk tag. Enjoy!
