Have you seen all of the curvy keepsake creations on Pinterest? If you are following crafters and card makers then I am pretty sure you have seen some of the adorable creations out there! The possibilities are endless with this little framelit set! The curvy keepsake framelit is super simple to use and putting the little boxes together is just as easy! I was so inspired by all of the curvy keepsake creations on pinterest that I just had to make one for each of the ladies that attended my Fall Stampin’ Extravaganza last weekend. These adorable little pumpkins took the place of name tags on the tables. Everyone loved them!
To make these little keepsakes, start by cutting out 2 curvy keepsake shapes (with the framelit) using pumpkin pie cardstock. Stamp the long thin line image, from the Work of Art stamp set, across the 2 curvy keepsake shapes using the same color ink as the cardstock…pumpkin pie. You will tape the 2 curvy keepsake shapes together by lining up and securing the square bottoms on top of each other…then just bring up the sides. 2 of the sides form the handle and the other 2 sides have a little slit in the top so they fit nicely over the handles. Then just decorate!
For this particular project, I used the leaves from the Flower Patch bundle to decorate the boxes but you can use any of your favorite leaf images. I also added just a small scrap piece of pear pizazz cardstock, that I wrapped around a pencil, to make the little curly piece on the top. I secured these pieces to the top of the box with glue dots. To personalize these, I used my computer to type out the names and printed them on a piece of cardstock. I cut them out with the leaf shaped framelit from the bundle. For the final touch, I stamped a little pumpkin image, from the Holiday Invitations stamp set, over the name before securing them to the box with a bit of linen thread. Fun and simple little projects! You will love them!
