This was one of my favorite creations from this month’s card classes. It was actually inspired by a picture in the 2014 Stampin’ Up! catalog. I am drawn to projects that showcase pretty pastels and gold. This card actually uses a variety of stamp sets and materials so it may not be the easiest to re-create but it makes great eye candy!
To make this card, start with a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock…this is the piece that you will do your stamping on. As I mentioned, there are a variety of supplies that you will need to re-create this card. Let’s start with the stamp sets used on this card: Day Dream Medallions, Gorgeous Grunge, Flower Shop and A Round Array. The colors on this card include Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake. And, of course, I used the coordinating flower and scalloped circle punches. Once you have all of your supplies, the stamping is easy! 🙂 Simply stamp the various day dream medallion images using the different colors noted earlier. The medallions are your focal point for the card. You can embellish the card with a bit of baker’s twine, a flower and some of the fun gold vellum and foil. Don’t have all of the supplies? You are welcome to shop online at www.lynndunn.stampinup.net or get creative and substitute some of these embellishments for supplies you have on hand. Enjoy!
