Here is a fun wedding card design that uses some of my favorite new products like the Hearts Border punch and the beautiful silver vellum paper. This card was one of the favorites at class this month.
To make this card, start with a piece of basic gray cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch piece of soft sky cardstock and punch out a row of hearts using the new border punch. Cut a 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 inch piece of the silver vellum paper and secure the top part of the paper to the soft sky cardstock just under the hearts you punched out. Don’t worry that you can see the glue through the vellum…you will be covering it up with some silver 1/8 inch ribbon! Simply wrap the ribbon around the glued area a few times and tie a pretty bow. Next, cut a 3 1/4 x 1/2 inch piece of silver glimmer paper…punch out a few hearts in the middle of that piece as well and secure it to the vellum just under your bow. Cut a 4 1/4 x 1 inch piece of designer paper….I used the new moonlight DSP and secure it to the left side of the soft sky piece you have been working on. Add a little piece of a paper doily as well and secure the entire piece to your card base. For the sentiment, I used the Wedded Bliss sentiment from the Tag Talk stamp set…stamp the sentiment in smoky slate and punch it out with the coordinating label bracket punch. I matted this sentiment with a little silver glimmer paper also punched out with the label bracket. Secure this piece to your card with dimensionals. Voila! You have yourself a beautiful creation!
