Gold, Gold and more Gold! If you love the elegance of gold, then you are definitely going to enjoying putting together this beautiful gold card! I designed this for a wedding but it works well for any special occasion just simply change out the sentiment. This card features a variety of gold products from the Stampin’ Up! Catalog: Gold Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Glitter, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Glimmer Paper, Gold Foil and Gold Washi Tape.
So let’s talk about how to make this beauty! Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Grab your versa mark, some heat & stick powder and gold glitter. Use the versa mark on the big elegant swirly image from the Everything Eleanor stamp set, sprinkle on some heat & stick powder, then heat to set. Next, sprinkle the gold glitter over the image and heat to set. On a scrap piece of white paper, emboss some of the beautiful flower images using gold embossing powder…cut then out, by hand, and secure them to your glitter embossing image as shown. Punch out a gold foil elegant butterfly and a gold glimmer paper bitty butterfly…layer them together and secure to your card. The lower portion of the card is decorated with some small pieces of gold soiree DSP, a bit of washi tape and a gold embossed sentiment from the Label Love stamp set. Simple and elegant!
