Too Kind

This is fun little card design was inspired by a pic I saw in one of the old Stampin’ Up! catalogs…yes I save all of my old catalogs!  You know you can find lots of inspiration in these catalogs!

This card showcases some fun colors that I haven’t played with in awhile. Colors like So Saffron, Perfect Plum and Pear Pizazz.

Start with a piece of pear pizazz cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 4 1/4 x 3 inch piece of crumb cake cardstock and stamp a little sentiment on the top.  The little purple trim is actually a scrap piece of perfect plum cardstock that I cut to 4 1/4 x 1 inches and then tore it. Next, I took an oval framelit…one that would fit on the crumb cake cardstock, and cut out a piece of whisper white cardstock. The stamp set used on this project is called Too Kind…it comes with some cute flower images and a few sentiments. I stamped a few of the flower images using the colors I mentioned earlier. For the final touch, I did a bit of paper piercing on the oval, tucked a bit of chevron ribbon behind the crumb cake cardstock and added some buttons.  Super simple and cute! Enjoy!
