A few days ago I shared my first masculine themed card made with the new Traveler stamp set. Well here is my second masculine creation! This card features the Traveler stamp set and the new Work of Art stamp set. The Work of Art set is by far my favorite set from the new catalog because it has so many fun swoosh images that you can use to add background color…like the colors on this card!
To make this card, start with a piece of the new 2014-2016 In Color cardstock, called Mossy Meadow, for the base of your card. It is a rich green color which is fast becoming my “go to” color for masculine style cards and it will be great for fall-themed cards too! Cut a 3 x 4 1/4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock, a 4 1/4 x 1 inch piece of early espresso cardstock (tear one edge) and a 4 1/4 x 1 inch piece of the moonlight DSP (I used the yellow pattern).
Stamp the big swoosh images from the Work of Art set alternating the mossy meadow and hello honey new In Colors. Stamp the globe image (from the traveler set) directly over the top of the swooshes and the “Just for You” sentiments (found in the Work of Art set) using early espresso ink. Grab that new little banner punch or you can hand cut the banner pieces in the upper right hand corner of the card. I just layered some early espresso cardstock and some old newspaper print DSP together with a little silver brad. Once you have all of your images stamped, adhere the torn early espresso cardstock and the moonlight DSP to the bottom of the very vanilla cardstock as shown in the pic….then adhere the entire piece to your mossy meadow green cardstock base. That’s it! I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial!
