Moonlight Traveler

Masculine cards seem to be one of the more challenging card types to make. Not because they are difficult to make…it can be challenging because of the limited number of masculine style stamp sets that are available. So when I saw the Traveler stamp set in the new catalog I knew I had to add it to my collection of masculine themed sets. And…there are a few other masculine style products in the new catalog that I used to create this card. So let’s talk about how to make it.

Start with a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of the NEW In Color cardstock…lost lagoon. Stamp the World Map onto this piece of cardstock using basic gray ink. Next, choose a few different patterns of the moonlight designer series paper stack. Cut them at 3 1/2 x 1, 3 x 1 and 2 x 1 inches. Layer them on the card as shown. For the tag, cut a piece of sahara sand cardstock to 2 x 3 inches. Stamp the boat image from the traveler set using basic gray ink.  You can easily make the tag top using the Tag Topper Angled Punch. Rough up the edges of the tag with a distressing tool and add a bit of the new Hello Honey ribbon to the top. Then just embellish with your favorite sentiment and a candy dot! I used several of the great new catalog products on this card:  New 2014-2016 In Color Cardstock and Ribbon, Traveler stamp set, Moonlight DSP.
