Zoo Babies

One of my favorite baby themed stamp sets is “Zoo Babies.” This particular stamp set has the cutest little baby animals…perfect for making baby cards.  And, for some reason, I seem to know a lot of people having babies this year! So let’s talk about how to make this card…

For this particular card, I thought two of the new In Colors, Baked Brown Sugar and Coastal Cabana, would go nicely together.  So I started with a piece of baked brown sugar for the base of the card. Next, cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock. Randomly stamp some of the zoo baby images all over the cardstock alternating between the coastal cabana and baked brown sugar colors. Once you have the vanilla piece stamped, emboss it with the alphabet press embossing folder. Cut a little 1 x 3 inch piece of baked brown sugar for the pennant. Stamp the little welcome baby sentiment (or any sentiment you have on hand) and punch it out with the little 7/8 inch scallop circle punch. I put a little 1 inch coastal cabana circle behind my scalloped one just to matte it out. Add a few rhinestones to embellish. Super simple and fun little baby card! Enjoy!
