Peaceful Petals

Spring has finally arrived!  Wahoo!!  And it’s about time here in Wisconsin!  One of my most favorite things about spring is the beautiful flowers!  I just love walking outside and seeing the colorful bouquets around everyone’s homes!  So naturally I am drawn to flowery stamp images, like this one from the Occasions catalog. The stamp set is called Peaceful Petals and it has some great little flower images.

To make this card, start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of pink pirouette cardstock and emboss the upper half with the scalloped embossing folder. Cut a 2 x 4 inch piece of the Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper and half of a paper doily…adhere these pieces over the bottom portion of the scalloped embossing. Cut 2 different size circles…stamp your flower and watercolor image onto the white circle (cut from a circle framelit) and matte it out with a slightly larger circle (cut from the 2 1/2 inch circle punch). Adhere it to the left side of the card as shown. Add a bit of ribbon and some pearls…oh, and don’t forget to stamp a little sentiment on the bottom.

The majority of the products found on this card are available in the current Occasions Catalog which runs until June 1, 2014! And June 1, 2014 is right around the corner, so don’t wait too long to get your hands on them! 🙂
