Mother’s Day is such a special holiday. A day to show how much we love and appreciate Moms! And you know how much Moms just love anything their children make for them, right? 🙂 Well, this Mother’s Day was no exception…of course I had to make some special cards for all of the Moms in my life. 🙂
Now if you waited until today to make a card for the Moms in your life, then this little quick and simple design is for you! 🙂 To make this card, cut a piece of melon mambo cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock…I actually used a piece of cardstock that already had an embossed frame around it (yeah, I know…I cheated). 🙂 Stamp your favorite Mother’s Day sentiment on the lower right hand side of the white cardstock using melon mambo ink. This Mother’s Day sentiment comes from the My Mother stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. Next, stamp the Gorgeous Grunge line image using pear pizazz ink and follow that up with a few of the splatter images in so saffron. For the flower, simply run a few pieces of washi tape on a scrap piece of cardstock and punch out your favorite flower image (I used the pansy and petite petals punch). Adhere your flower with dimensionals. Then embellish your flower with a jumbo pearl.
