Here is a super simple card design idea! If you need a lot of cards in a very short period of time, then this design is for you! You can use any type of sentiment on the bottom of the card to match your specific occasion…remember….Mother’s Day is right around the corner. 🙂
The colors on this card coordinate with the Eastern Elegance Designer Series Paper (DSP). Colors such as Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry. To make this card, simply cut out a piece of coastal cabana cardstock for the base of your card. Heat emboss your favorite sentiment on the bottom right hand side of the card using white embossing powder. Cut a 4 x 4 inch piece of the Eastern Elegance DSP and secure it to the top half of the card. Take a piece of the crushed curry chevron ribbon and wrap it around the card, cut it to fit, and secure it over the bottom half of the DSP. Embellish the ribbon with a little scalloped circle and a vintage faceted button tied with some bakers twine. Secure the embellishment to cover up the spot where the 2 ends of the ribbon meet. Tuck a little piece of a paper doily under the ribbon. Voila! You have created a very simple, yet elegant card!
